The task force was alerted by a shipping company to three packages containing an unknown amount of marijuana addressed to Chelsea Dean, according to the sheriff’s office.
When the packages were delivered, a man identified as Aaron Marshall, 25, accepted them and took them inside.
That’s when investigators raided the residence and recovered the packages the occupants had already started to open, deputies said.
Seized were approximately 55 pounds of “name brand” high-quality marijuana with an approximate street value of $165,000; 67 individually packaged “caviar” marijuana cigarettes with an approximate street value of $4,300; a loaded firearm; and more than $9,500 cash, the sheriff’s office reported.
Dean, 24, and Marshall were arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of marijuana trafficking.
