1 wounded in shooting outside Dayton jazz club; Police looking for a suspect

UPDATE @ 12:05 a.m. (Nov. 11): A man was shot at least once in the parking lot of Jazz Central, 2931 E. Third St., a Dayton police sergeant said.

The victim has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital, suffering injuries described as non-life threatening, the sergeant said.

Police do not have any information relative to a suspect, the sergeant said.

FIRST REPORT (Nov. 10)

Crews were called late Friday to a report of a shooting in front of Jazz Central in Dayton.

It was reported around 11:30 p.m. that a man had been shot outside 2931 E. Third St.

According to initial reports, police found a firearm magazine in a parking lot.
