Springfield shooting leaves 3 dead: What we know now


Police are continuing their investigation today into a Springfield shooting that left three dead.

Here is what we know now:

1) It was a murder-suicide

Springfield police said in news release it was a murder-suicide. Police were called to a home on 1305 Quinlin Court at around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

2) Identities of the dead

Springfield police said Eric Sirons, 56, Jennifer Sirons, 49, and Andrea Heiser, 21 were killed in the shooting.

Information about what led to the shooting has not been released.

3) Press conference announced

Springfield police said they are expecting to release additional information this afternoon .

An afternoon press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m.
