Suspected drug deal caught on camera


Two men were issued citations after police watched live camera footage of a suspected drug deal in a laundry facility at Parkview Arms Apartments.

After watching the video, provided by the property manager of the apartment complex, police were given a key to the area and found two men — Steven Cole and Clint Minter, both 39, in the room where they were not permitted.

A black backpack loaded with personal belongings was found inside one of the dryers, and Minter told police it was his, according to a police report.

Inside the backpack, police found a glass pipe with residue and a used needle.

Both men were issued citations for criminal trespass. Minter was also cited for illegal use of or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments.
