Dayton’s Levitt Pavilion construction near, fence goes up

Construction of the long-awaited Levitt Pavilion is about to begin. A construction fence has been placed around the site on Dave Hall Plaza in downtown Dayton.

The Fiends of Levitt Pavilion announced in late December that a contractor has been selected to build the outdoor amphitheater.

Shook Construction, based in Dayton, will build the music venue, with construction expected to begin early this year.

BRUTAL COLD: Rough on local water mains

Supporters say the pavilion should open in mid-summer of this year, allowing for a partial season of music programming, likely featuring about 30 shows.
