Colleagues react to Senator McCain’s cancer diagnosis: ‘Give it hell, John’

John McCain received broad support from colleagues in both parties after he revealed he had a brain tumor.

Former President Barack Obama issued a quick message on Twitter after news broke that U.S. Senator John McCain was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Obama and McCain were opponents during the 2008 presidential election. The  two were also colleagues in the Senate.
