Kettering Health Network will celebrate the completion of its new $13 million Emergency Center in Preble County with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, according to a media release.
The Emergency Center is located at the Preble County Medical Center, 450 Washington-Jackson Road in Eaton.
Officials said this is the only facility in Preble County that will provide high-level emergency care 24 hours, seven days a week, including treatment for those suffering from a heart attack, stroke, or needing access to Level III trauma services at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton.
The 24,000-square-foot center includes 12 patient care rooms; a new location for pharmacy, imaging and laboratory services; and is staffed with board-certified emergency physicians.
The Emergency Center will host a community open house Aug. 23 from 1-4 p.m. The facility opens for business Aug. 24 at 7 a.m.
