UPDATE: Victim flown to hospital after crash into tree in Butler County


UPDATE @ 8:11 A.M.

A 19-year-old male was flown by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center after a crash this morning in Morgan Twp.

The victim, whose identity was not available, crashed into a tree, according to dispatchers. 

No information was immediately available on the extent of his injuries.

INITIAL REPORT

Careflight has been requested to a vehicle crash in the 4400 block of Layhigh Road that occurred in Butler County Wednesday morning. 

OTHER LOCAL NEWS: RTA bus, cars collide; children among those injured in Harrison Twp. 

The crash was dispatched around 6:40 a.m. with reports of entrapment, per initial reports.

Reports also indicate the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle.
