Cedarville University expects over 100 employers, 600 students to attend career fair

Cedarville University will be holding its largest fall career fair on Sept. 26, and it’s open to the public.

The fair will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Doden Field House, according to a release.

100  different employers are expected to attend, including GE Aviation, Procter & Gamble, Honda, The Boeing Company and FBI. More than 600 students from all majors are also expected to participate.

“Those are the kind of companies that every school in the country wants on their campus,” said Jeff Reep, Director of Career Services.

“It is a good indicator that there is a really good product here that they are very interested in,” he continued.

Students will gain experience interacting with future employers, and university photographer Scott Huck will be available to take LinkedIn photos, the release stated.

“This is their professional image,” said Reep.

“Most employers go to social media as the first thing they do when considering someone. That picture is going to mean a lot,” he continued.

Last year, 97.5 percent of the graduating class found jobs or enrolled in graduate school.

“This career fair is a great opportunity to showcase what we have here,” said Reep.
