Celina man seriously hurt in Darke County crash

The driver of a work van is expected to be cited in the chain-reaction crash Thursday afternoon on U.S. 127 at Ohio 121.

Dustin Underwood, 25, of Greenville, was driving a Chevrolet Express van north on 127 when he rear-ended a Nissan Altima driven by Garry Gray, 64, of Celina. Gray had slowed for a semitrailer, which was about to turn right to get on the ramp to 121.

Gray had to pulled from his car because of the collision and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight. Gray was in serious condition Friday afternoon.

David Bullard, 50, of Ansonia, who was driving the semi, was treated at the scene by Greenville Twp. rescue. Underwood was treated at the scene as well.
