“Upon crews’ arrival, they had a working garage fire that was extended into the second floor and the attic already,” Garver said.

The man who lived in the house told firefighters that he smelled smoke but initially thought his wife was cooking something. Then, he saw some smoke. When he opened the exterior garage doors, he saw that his entire garage was on fire, the chief said.
