Medical helicopter called, power outages reported after Clark County crash

UPDATE @ 6:35 a.m: Careflight responded and multiple power outages have been reported after a vehicle crashed into a pole in the 6000 block of Dayton Springfield Road Thursday morning.

Officials say the driver of the vehicle went left of center, clipped another car’s mirror, and over-corrected before crashing into a pole around 5 a.m.

The individual was flown to Miami Valley Hospital with injuries that are believed to be serious.

About 90 people in Clark County are still without power as a result of the crash, according to the Ohio Edison outage map.

UPDATE @ 5:55 a.m: Careflight responded to the 6000 block of Dayton Springfield Road early Thursday morning on a single-vehicle that crashed into a pole.

The incident was dispatched just after 5 a.m. with initial reports indicating possible ejection.

The individual was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash has caused about 90 reported power outages in Clark County, according to the Ohio Edison outage map.

The incident was dispatched just after 5 a.m. with the vehicle reportedly into a tree, per initial reports.
