Child alerts family to mobile home fire in Clark Co.

The mother, father and two children were able to escape without injury, but a couple dogs died, according to Mad River Twp. fire officials.

The fire at Pleasant Valley Mobile Home Park is believed to be accidental and possibly electrical.

Hustead Fire Department along with Bethel Twp. fire assisted to put out the flames that appear to have started in the back of the trailer.

FIRST REPORT

Multiple crews are responding to a reported mobile home fire at Pleasant Valley Mobile Home Park in Mad River Twp. this morning.

According to initial reports, flames could be seen from the mobile home located in the 2100 block of South Tecumseh Road around 8:15 a.m.

All occupants are out of the home, according to scanner traffic.
