Red Cross called after home catches fire in Springfield

The American Red Cross is on the scene of a house fire in Springfield.

Two people inside the house — a man and his teenage daughter — were inside the house were able to escape without injury.

FIRST REPORT

Crews continue on the scene of a structure fire in the 300 block of East Grand Avenue.

Springfield crews were dispatched about 10:30 p.m. There are no reports of any injuries.
