Dog shot in Dayton apartment complex parking lot, report shows

Police reviewed surveillance video, which showed the dog being shot, according to a Dayton police report.

Investigators were unable to determine if the dog was being aggressive or what prompted the man to shoot the dog, as prior to the shooting the man and dog walked out of view of the surveillance video, according to the report.

Police have not been able to talk to the man who shot the dog and its unclear if any charges will be filed in the case.
