Brightwood College has a campus in the Dayton area at 2800 E. River Road in Moraine. Its website did not mention it was closed, however, it previously announced it was not enrolling new students effective Sept. 10.

ECA spokeswoman Diane Worthington said that at most locations, Friday would be the last day of classes and that students would get academic credit for this term. However, the AP reported that in some cases students said operations ceased immediately.

The Brightwood College social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram were deleted.
