“It’s typical we oftentimes have to change locations during the election cycles,” said Jan Kelly, Montgomery County Board of Elections director.

The voting precinct boundaries in Montgomery County have not shifted since the last election, according to elections officials.
Kelly said in two cases this year, buildings are being demolished or renovated — both at the Wilmington-Stroop Branch of the Dayton Metro Library in Kettering and St. Helen School in Riverside.

Voters in six of the county’s precincts will cast ballots at new locations, while voters in two other precincts will vote at the same spot, but the buildings have been renamed since the last election.
Here are the precincts and locations affected:

Name changes:
Two voting locations, one each in Jefferson Twp. and Miamisburg have new names.
For some voters, Liberty Town Hall is now Jefferson Twp. Fire Station 59, while the Miamisburg Learning Center is renamed Community Learning Center.

About 30 days before the election, registered voters affected will receive a postcard detailing the changes, said Jan Kelly, Montgomery County Board of Elections director.
Voters can also find their polling location by calling the Board of Elections office at (937) 225-5656 or check the website, www.mcboe.org under, "Where do I Vote?"
The deadline to register to vote is April 9.
