Feared head-on collision on Ohio 201 in Miami County just a minor wreck


UPDATE @ 11:15 p.m.: There were no injuries in what turned out to be a minor wreck on Ohio 201 in Bethel Twp. initially dispatched as a reported head-on collision. 

An SUV slid into a semitrailer backing into a parking lot and sideswiped the big rig, a Miami County Sheriff's supervisor said. 

The driver of the SUV was cited for failure to yield, the supervisor said.

INITIAL REPORT

Miami County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a reported head-on collision in the 9200 block of Ohio 201, just south of U.S. 40, in Bethel Twp.

The accident, between Cobaugh and Singer roads, was reported about 8:30 p.m. 

A sheriff's dispatcher said authorities were still on scene at 9:30 p.m. We're working to learn more about the accident and the victims.
