Here’s how you can make $174 on Election Day

The Butler County Board of Elections is now hiring for the Nov. 6 General Election.

The Board of Elections is in need of 600 additional workers.

Poll workers must be U.S. citizens and a registered voter in Butler County.

Poll workers are required to:

  • Attend a three-hour training session at the Board of Elections
  • Attend an organizational meeting the Monday night prior to the election at the polling location the poll worker has been chosen to work
  • Be responsible for working the polls from 5:30 a.m. until approximately 8:30 p.m. on Election Day

Poll workers earn $174.
