It was in effect for more than 40 hours.
The boil advisory was necessary after repairs following a water main break in the 900 block of West Main Street by the water tower, Village Manager George Markus said Sunday.

A boil advisory for the entire village of New Lebanon remains in effect, and it is not clear when it will be lifted.
FIRST REPORT (8 p.m. March 11)
The entire village of New Lebanon is under a boil advisory for the next 24 hours.
The advisory follows a water main break that happened this afternoon in the 900 block of West Main Street by the water tower, Village Manager George Markus said.
Residents are to bring water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute before allowing it to cool. Use bottled water or boiled water for cooking, drinking and oral hygiene.
