Business owners and residents of Greene, Clark and Montgomery counties can “come see what we’re doing and what we’re promoting,” said Ancil Carter, pastor and founder of Victory Temple.

Carter said the center is an effort to help children stay out of trouble and provide a safe, positive destination spot. Carter said the center will operate under the guiding principals of “Love. Joy. Peace.”

The church property, which sits on nearly three acres, has sat vacant for a few years. Carter, his wife Donna, and other volunteers are working to find volunteers and donations to contribute to the effort.
