The checkpoint will be on the northbound lanes of University Boulevard at First Avenue, starting at 11 p.m. and ending no later than 3 a.m.
Police will be patrolling the areas near the checkpoints as part of the effort to “reduce OVI related crashed resulting in injuries and fatalities,” according to a release by the task force.
The Butler County OVI Task Force is funded by U.S. DOT/NHTSA and ODPS.
