Pit bull puppy stolen off chain from Dayton residence

A pit bull was stolen from a residence Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. in Dayton.

A man reported to police that someone stole his eight-month-old, male King Fisher pit bull puppy from his house located on Tubman Avenue.

The man chained his puppy, Bless, outside to the left of the front door and when he returned 15 minutes later, his dog was missing.

He told police he heard Bless barking for a bit while outside, but quieted down after several minutes.

The man also told police there was no damage to the chain Bless was attached to.

Bless is described as having black fur that covers most of his body except for his chest and neck that’s covered in white fur, and approximately 25 to 30 pounds.

There are currently no suspects at this time.
