The TV station cited Lambert's attorney, James Arnold.

The Columbus Dispatch tried but has been unable to reach Arnold or Lambert’s court-appointed guardian, W. Scott Hayes, for comment.

Lambert received a nearly $1.8 million settlement from the fair.

According to the Dispatch, a special needs trust was created on her behalf and all net proceeds of the settlement were to go into that trust, according to Licking County Probate Court documents. The documents also stated that the money would continue to go into the trust, the Jennifer Lambert Irrevocable Special Needs Trust, after her death.
