SWAT on scene of standoff in Dayton

Report: No victim found after shooting report in Dayton


Police are investigating a report of a person shot in the area of Kipling Drive and West Hillcrest Avenue in Dayton. 

Emergency crews responded to the area around 10:40 a.m. after receiving a 911 call that a person was shot. 

Initial reports indicate a victim was not located at the scene, but police have found shell casings. Medics were allowed to leave the scene, but officers have responded to local hospitals to see if any victims might show up, according to police scanner traffic.
