2 injured, medical helicopter requested to head-on crash near Cedarville

UPDATE @ 11:12 a.m.:

Two people were injured following a head-on crash on Ohio 72 south of Cedarville Thursday morning, according to state troopers.

One driver was transported by a MedFlight medical helicopter to Kettering Medical Center, dispatchers from the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed.

A second driver was transported to Greene Memorial Hospital.

The conditions of both drivers was not available.

Ohio 72 was shut down for nearly two hours, but reopened around 11 a.m.

FIRST REPORT

A medical helicopter was reportedly requested to a head-on crash on Ohio 72 south of Cedarville Thursday morning.

All lanes are shut down in both directions near Turnbull Road, according to Ohio Department of Transportation.

The two-vehicle crash reportedly occurred around 9:10 a.m., and deputies are still on scene, according to the Greene Co. Sheriff's Office.
