RTA offers free rides on Thanksgiving


Greater Dayton RTA is offering free rides on Thanksgiving.

The free rides includes transportation to Dayton’s Feast of Giving  dinner, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.

All are welcome for the free Thanksgiving meal, including those who otherwise would spend the holiday alone, those who are homeless or less fortunate and those who want to be part of this family event at the Dayton Convention Center, 22 E. Fifth St.

RTA will run Sunday service on Thanksgiving; free rides apply to both regularly scheduled routes and RTA Connect paratransit trips.

The RTA Flyer circular shuttle will not run on the holiday.
