Shoes 4 the Shoeless (S4TS) will be taking over 1,000 pairs of shoes, socks, and other needed supplies to children and their families in need due to Hurricane Florence, according to a release.

The goal is to fill three 26-foot trucks with needed items to take to the residents of Pollacksville, North Carolina.

Items can be donated on Sept. 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sept. 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The designated drop off location will be at First Baptist Church, 3939 Swigart Road, in Kettering.

A S4TS team will arrive in Pollacksville, NC on Sept. 29 to distribute all donated items.

Shoes 4 the Shoeless founder and executive director Kris Horlacher said, “This town is completely wiped out and often the small towns like Pollacksville are neglected by the larger relief organizations. Our goal is to provide whatever help and relief we can during this time. This is what Americans do.”

Some of the following donation items include: nonperishable food items, new gym shoes, socks, baby bottles and other baby supplies, toiletries and other bathroom items, blankets, flashlights, first aid supplies, and more.

The complete list of items to donate can be found at http://fbckettering.org/relief.
