Two people, no longer jailed, were charged after dispute in Eaton

UPDATE @ 9:30 p.m. (Nov. 30):

The two people that were jailed from a domestic violence incident that occurred on Nov. 16 were charged.

A 20-year-old was charged with discharge of a firearm on or near premises, using weapons while intoxicated and offenses involving underage persons.

A 25-year-old was charged with domestic violence and obstructing official business.

Neither of them are jailed at this time.

UPDATE @ 6:00 p.m. (Nov. 17):

No one was shot during a domestic violence incident that occurred Friday night in the 400 block of E. Main Street, according to Officer Sean Mackuy.

According to Officer Mackuy,  a firearm was discharged multiple times but no one was injured.

A male and female have been jailed on related charges to the incident.

FIRST REPORT:

Detectives are investigating a shooting Friday night on Main Street.

The incident was reported just before 9 p.m. in the 400 block of East Main Street, according to Eaton police dispatch.

We are working to learn the circumstances of the shooting and how many people were involved.
