Tow truck stolen while man’s vehicle being repossessed in Huber Heights


A man is accused of stealing a tow truck driver’s vehicle as the driver was hauling away the man’s Cadillac, which was being repossessed, officers said.

The incident started in the parking lot of the Verizon store on Old Troy Pike.

Officers said the man stole the tow truck and drove off, but ditched the vehicle at the end of the shopping center around noon before running away.

Police eventually chased down the man near a business off Executive Boulevard, where he was arrested.
