Vandalia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying one of two male suspects that were caught on surveillance footage reportedly breaking into a restaurant last Friday.

The police department posted still photos of the suspect to its Facebook page Wednesday evening, stating the men entered the Shen’s Restaurant, located at 7580 Poe Avenue, around 3 a.m. and stole cash.

“The suspects entered by breaking the glass on the southside door and crawling through,” the post said. 

Anyone able to recognize the suspect or have any information related to the incident should contact Detective Mike Hulbert at 937-898-5868.
