Want to give your opinion on future Good Sam hospital site? Here’s your chance

Residents can weigh in on future of the Good Samaritan Hospital campus site at two public forums this week.

The northwest Dayton hospital will be closed later this year and the campus at Philadelphia Drive will be razed into a shovel ready site, with the goal of attracting new development to the site.

The city of Dayton, CityWide Development and Premier Health — which operates Good Samaritan — will hold two forums this Thursday to talk about how that redevelopment planning process will work and to get feedback from attendees.

There’s no definitive plan yet, but Premier has said it will give $10 million in seed money toward the future redevelopment.
