Winter Storm: Traffic conditions and accident report from around the Miami Valley

Wayne County:  A TRAVEL ADVISORY (LEVEL 1) HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR WAYNE COUNTY ROADWAYS AND THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND AND THE TOWN OF CENTERVILLE DUE TO SNOW ACCUMULATION CAUSING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

This TRAVEL ADVISORY takes effect at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 20, 2019. This Advisory applies to all roads maintained by Wayne County Highway Department and the Street Departments of City of Richmond and the Town of Centerville. This Advisory will remain in effect until Monday, January 21, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

  • In the 4400 block of Springfield Jamestown Road, a one vehicle rollover was reported around 9:22 p.m.
  • Interstate 70 westbound between Enon and I-675, a crash was reported around 2:42 p.m. The right lane was closed.

  • Fairground Road at Hilltop Road in Beavercreek Twp., one vehicle injury accident with heavy damage and possibly two patients reported around 11:10 p.m.

  • Interstate 75 north in Sidney, an accident involving  a semi truck was reported around 3:45 p.m. The left lane was closed.

  • Route 274, a one-vehicle rollover accident was reported in the 1800 block around 3:20 p.m.
