Woman jailed after stabbing man in Dayton 


A woman has been taken to jail after stabbing a man in the back at a Dayton apartment complex Sunday evening, according to officials.

Lakesha Davis, 36, was booked into Montgomery County Jail on charges of felonious assault, according to the jail website.

Initial reports indicate police responded to the 800 block of Wilberforce Place just after 8 p.m.  on reports of a stabbing.

The incident was reportedly a result of a domestic situation and the man was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
