Premier announced in early September that it would spend $25 million to construct four new medical offices in the region, including the location at 600 Aviator Court in Vandalia.
Other offices will be in Beavercreek, Monroe and Liberty Twp. The Beavercreek office has yet to break ground, and the Monroe and Liberty Twp. offices will open later this year.
The Dayton Daily News was the first to report Premier's Vandalia and Beavercreek projects, which were announced in September.
The 45,000-square-foot Vandalia office will consolidate smaller practices that are located around the community. The consolidation of offices will help Premier physicians treat patients at a more convenient space, especially when physicians are out sick.
Kettering Health Network, the other large health network in the area, is also expanding its reach north of Dayton. Kettering Health is building a new hospital in Troy and bought property in Piqua earlier this year, though it hasn’t announced plans for the site.
“We’re very excited about this project. This facility will offer the people of Vandalia access to a number of primary and specialist physicians at one location,” said City Manager Jon Crusey. “The building they’ve designed is very attractive, and will be a nice addition to the landscape. This is a great project for the city, and we’re very excited to see construction begin.”
