High temperatures will be in the upper 80s, some spots may even get into the lower 90s.

Given the amount of moisture, it will be humid and that will give us heat index values in the lower to middle 90s. That higher moisture content is also part of the reason why an isolated shower or two will be possible in the afternoon.

Daytime clouds are expected to develop in the afternoon. These clouds will be somewhat scattered, so there will be chances to see the eclipse as they pass overhead.

Some of these clouds could give way to an isolated shower or two. These rain chances are not all that high, and most look to stay dry, but they can't be ruled out.

Even if we do see a few showers develop, there will still be a chance to see the eclipse at times Monday afternoon.
