An 18-year-old was indicted today by a Montgomery County grand jury in the Memorial Day death of a Sinclair College student.
Tylin Christopher Watson is accused of killing 19-year-old Sorin Farcas, who was found around 3 a.m. May 28 with a gunshot wound to the head in the garage of his parents’ home in the 7300 block of Charnwood Drive in Huber Heights.
Watson is charged with four counts of murder; three counts of aggravated robbery; two counts of felonious assault; and single counts of kidnapping; tampering with evidence and having weapons under disability for a prior offense of violence, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

He also has two additional pending cases: one because he was allegedly caught driving a stolen car in Trotwood; and a second for alleged heroin possession in Dayton. Both of those cases will be presented to a grand jury at a later date, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Watson remains in the Montgomery County Jail, held on $250,000 bond. He will be arraigned Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Tylin Christopher Watson is accused of killing Sorin Farcas, 19, who was shot in the head at the residence in the 7300 block of Charnwood Drive about 3 a.m. on Memorial Day.
At the time of the homicide, Huber Heights police said a caller reported that Farcas and a witness were in the garage when a male approached. Farcas was shot, and the suspected shooter — described as a male wearing a red hoodie — left the scene in a car.
Bond for Watson has been set at $250,000 on charges of murder, aggravated robbery, felonious assault, kidnapping, tampering with evidence and having weapons as a felon. The warrant for Watson was filed in the Montgomery County Municipal Court Eastern Division, where bond was set.
Dayton police arrested Watson the night of July 10 at an apartment on Linden Avenue, according to online jail records. Huber Heights police detectives met with the Montgomery County prosecutors to obtain formal charges.
According to online jail records, Watson is scheduled to be in court Wednesday on the homicide case.
There are court dates scheduled for later this week on felony drug and stolen property charges. Bond is set at $50,000 in the drug case, $10,000 in the property case.
