Miamisburg Monopoly game sells out, more bicentennial versions ordered

Miamisburg’s bicentennial edition of Monopoly has sold out – but more have been ordered.

The Miamisburg version of the classic board game that went on sale for $25 each last week sold out 1,000 games the first day, according to bicentennial organizers.

More of the games, which features squares of local businesses and community sites, have been ordered. Pre-orders are being accepted at the Miamisburg Historical Society, 4 N. Main St.

The society’s hours are Wednesday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The phone number is (937) 859-5000.

The game was unveiled Feb. 20 at the Founder’s Day celebration and went on sale the next day.
