NEW DETAILS: 5 things to know about Austin Landing jobs, buildings

Austin Landing developers are constructing a new building as the next home of a Dayton company planning to move its headquarters to the Miami Twp. mixed-use retail complex.

The three-story, 38,822-square-foot building Midmark Corp. will occupy will add to a growing business environment on north side of the 142 acres on Austin Boulevard near the Interstate 75 interchange being developed by VisCap Development.

According to VisCap and township records, here are five things to know about office space at Austin Landing:

•This will be the fifth office building. It joins two-story Teradata, four-story Discovery Place, four-story Enterprise Place, and five-story Progress Park Tower.

•There are now 34 tenants. This includes one of the township's largest employers – Teradata – which has about 400 jobs there.

•There are an estimated 1,900 jobs within the buildings.

•The square footage of office space is currently about 435,000. This does not include the building now under construction.

•More than 96 percent of the office space is under lease.
