$3.4M in road work expected for Ohio 741 from near the Dayton Mall to Miamisburg

Ohio 741 near the Dayton Mall in Miamisburg is expected to be the focus of a $3.4 million resurfacing and reconstruction project.

The project would include a strip of the state route just north of the Ohio 725 intersection to the northern Miamisburg corporation line, according to city records.

The intersection just north of the mall and east of the Interstate 75/725 interchange is among the busiest in the Dayton area, officials have said. It is part of a jobs, business, entertainment and shopping corridor for both the city and Miami Twp.

Miamisburg City Council this week approved legislation to contract with ODOT for the project. The work is expected to be bid next month, records show.
