47 pounds of beef snack sticks recalled due to undeclared allergen

3-D Meats, LLC has recalled 47 pounds of ready-to-eat beef snack stick products because they are misbranded and may contain milk, which is a known allergen and was not declared on the finished product that was packaged and produced on Oct. 19, the USDA announced today.

The products subject to recall is the one pound vacuum-sealed packages containing “Spicey Snack Sticks” prepared for CF Ranch & Cattle Co. It establishes the number “Est. M45377” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

This problem was discovered Dec. 7 when the USDA received information about a report that concerns the label.

There have been no confirmed reports of reactions due to consumption of these products, but consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and throw them away or return them.
