62-year-old man killed in fatal crash on U.S. 22 in Warren County

A fatal crash occurred Friday night around 7:00 p.m. on U.S. 22 southbound near Strout Road, according to a release. Crews responded to the motorcycle crash with CareFlight on stand-by.

The investigation revealed a 2016 Ford F-150 pick-up truck, driven by John R. Hudepohl, 52, of Morrow, was traveling southbound and stopped to turn left into his driveway. A 2019 Harley Davidson, driven by Kenneth C. Brother, 62, of Maineville, was also traveling southbound when he struck the back of the pick-up truck.

Brother, the driver of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene by CareFlight staff. Hudepohl, the driver of the pick-up truck, was not injured.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash, and a lack of protective equipment appears to have been a contributing factor to injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
