The latest local Rapid Fired Pizza opens Thursday, and it means FREE pizza in Fairfield

Rapid Fired Pizza will host a grand opening starting 10:30 a.m. Thursday by giving away free pizzas to the first 500 customers in Fairfield.

The 2,200-square-foot Fairfield restaurant at 6775 Dixie Highway is a fast-casual concept that features fresh made pan pizzas cooked in 180 seconds.

Patrick Harder is the owner and operator of the new Rapid Fired Pizza, which seats more than 65 people.

Rapid Fired recently introduced delivery for customers, as well as offering a 14-inch crust in addition to the 9-inch and 11-inch crusts. Delivery will be available beginning on opening day in Fairfield.

Customers can choose from eight sauces, eight cheeses, more than 30 toppings and 14 dipping sauces to build their desired pizza or try one of the 10 craft pizzas on the menu. Made-to-order craft and custom salads are also available in addition to breadsticks, desserts and the new “No-Doh” pizza for customers counting carbohydrates.

Rapid Fired Pizza opened its first store in September 2015 and now includes 22 stores in Ohio, including Middletown and Oxford locations, plus one location in Florence, Ky. Each Rapid Fired Pizza location has flatscreen TVs and LED lighting and uses recyclable materials.

Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
