WATCH: This Trotwood park will make you feel more peaceful immediately

Deep blue-green spring water fills the Madison Lakes Park in Trotwood. The land is a former rock quarry acquired by Montgomery County in the 1970s and developed into the 206-acre, multi-use park that it is today. With ample parking and free fishing opportunities, it is popular with local anglers.

Picnic shelters, volleyball courts and the Madison Lakes Learning and Conference Center are available for reservation. A children’s playground is located near the Conference Center.
