Wright-Patt’s annual tree lighting rescheduled to Dec. 13


Due to the national day of mourning on Dec. 5 to honor the passing of former President George H.W. Bush, the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base annual tree lighting ceremony was rescheduled to Dec. 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wright-Patterson Club.

After the tree lighting and Santa Claus’ grand arrival, attendees are invited to come inside the club for a dinner buffet and to participate in several activities. Activities include:

• Photos with Santa;

• Ornament decorating sponsored by Decoy Art Center;

• Kid Bingo with toy prizes;

• Free hot cocoa bar sponsored by Starbucks.

This event is free for anyone with access to Wright-Patterson AFB. Dinner buffet and hot cocoa bar will be available until supplies last.
