In her new role, Paul will be responsible for the business and financial operations at the school of medicine, according to the university. Paul is expected to use the positions to integrate the business structures of the physicians group and school of medicine.
Paul will also lead efforts to work with Premier Health, Kettering Health Network, Dayton Children’s Hospital, Five Rivers Health Centers and the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, according to WSU.
“This position will allow us to more efficiently manage the educational, clinical and research enterprises of the Boonshoft School of Medicine in alignment with the university’s strategic plan and the mission of our community-based medical school,” Margaret Dunn, dean of the Boonshoft School of Medicine said in a prepared statement. “An integrated business structure is quickly becoming the contemporary management model for our peer institutions.”
