You may soon be able to experience ‘Bliss in a Bottle’ at the Mall at Fairfield Commons

A new tenant is interested in opening at the Mall at Fairfleld Commons, and it combines two edible substances that have proven their popularity for centuries: wine and chocolate.

“Bliss in a Bottle,” which operates a unit in the Polaris Fashion Mall north of Columbus, this week applied for an alcohol license to sell beer and wine for carry-out in the Mall at Fairfield Commons.

In this case, though, the wine bottles are dipped in chocolate — a wine-and-chocolate pairing in a single, portable package. The chocolate “shell” that is formed by the bottle-dipping process is edible and designed to complement the flavors of the wine.
