Dayton restaurant launches fresh, farm-to-table shrimp night on Fridays

The owner of a downtown restaurant hopes shrimp are as popular as oysters.

Hannah's, 121 N. Ludlow St. in downtown Dayton, has launched its new Friday shrimp night special, owner Luke Feerer told this new organization.

The shrimp will be sold starting at 11 a.m. until they are gone.

The year-old bar, eatery  and live music venue started offering a fresh oyster and jazz night special every Thursday in August 2017.

Feerer said his shrimp are sourced from an Ohio farm and will be prepared in several ways.

“We are the only restaurant that has farm-to-table shrimp in Dayton,” he added.

🦐 Shrimp cocktail will be sold for $9 an order.

🦐 Shrimp tacos will be sold for $4.50 each.

🦐Five warmed peel and eat shrimp will be sold for $7 as will shrimp kebabs.

“My team is continuing to come up with creations to blow your mind,” he said.

Afro Night celebrating several African countries was recently launched and occurs the first Saturday of each month.

Latin night is the last Friday of every month at Hannah’s.
