2020 recruit sits behind Dayton bench during exhibition game

DJ Gordon takes unofficial visit after receiving scholarship offer earlier in the week

DJ Gordon, a 6-foot-6 guard in the class of 2020, took an unofficial visit to the University of Dayton on Friday, sitting behind the bench during an exhibition game against Capital at UD Arena. The Dayton Flyers won 89-71.

Gordon, a junior at First Love Christian Academy in Washington, Pa., received a scholarship offer from Dayton on Sunday, along with teammate Madior Seye, a 7-0 center in the 2020 class.

Gordon received his first offer in September from Kent State. Dayton has one scholarship open for 2019 and will have three open in 2020.
