Bengals announce preseason opponents


The Cincinnati Bengals will open the 2018 preseason at home against the Chicago Bears the weekend of Aug. 9-12, the team announced today.

Also part of the schedule is a trip to Dallas to the play the Cowboys the weekend of Aug. 16-19 and a Week 3 dress rehearsal on national television against some familiar faces in Buffalo on Sunday, Aug. 26.

Former Bengals center Russell Bodine and backup quarterback AJ McCarron signed as free agents with the Bills, while former Buffalo linebacker Preston Brown signed with the Bengals, who also obtained tackle Cordy Glenn in a trade with the Bills last month.

›› Bengals announce start dates for training camp, rookie camp The Bengals also will wrap the preseason against the Indianapolis Colts for the 18th year in a row and 26th time in the last 27 seasons. The final will be played at Paul Brown Stadium on either Aug. 30 or 31.
